two nice twins who sing. weird how my favorite video of them is one that they are noticeably not as cute. and i noticed this in a lot of people.
it was a beautiful tree,
tall, strong, green-leafed
beauty.
coming to the park,
a glance buying another
stolen glance,
they found strong branches,
thick like snakes in the deep jungle,
in that heart of darkness,
like a picture it stood strong
against the soft sun setting.
and only she could
feel the age on that tree,
the grooves and crests
like cratered moons,
histories of the world,
or see the yellow tipped leaves,
the future promise of autumn leaves
and christmas present,
climbing it it creaked
like old haunted houses
and lonely invaded homes,
and she could only love the tree,
as no one else could.
